The Position:
Pachama seeks a Finance & Strategy Manager to steer our corporate-level planning and financial decision-making within our expanding company. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Pachama’s business model and establishing the groundwork for a top-tier FP&A function. Additionally, you will contribute to investor relations and serve as a visionary for our business partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in climate technology and possess a track record of success in dynamic, startup environments.
Location:
This role offers remote flexibility within the United States/International. However, candidates must be located within a 3-hour time zone of Pacific time due to cross-functional and investor communication responsibilities. Regular travel is neither required nor expected.

Your Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain Pachama’s corporate model and oversee long-term forecasting.
- Drive annual planning, quarterly Business vs. Actual processes, and monthly finance reviews.
- Provide support for all corporate-level fundraising, board meetings, and investor relations.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including industry landscapes, pricing trends, competitive benchmarking, and TAM sizing.
- Assist in the development and execution of new business models and pricing structures.
- Offer financial support for build vs. buy analysis and potential future M&A opportunities.
Experience & Skills Desired: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance/FP&A within a high-growth startup.
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Keynote/PowerPoint; adept at financial modeling and simplifying complex information.
- Strong ownership mindset, directly influencing Pachama’s strategic decisions.
- Thorough understanding of public and private capital markets.
- Demonstrated ability to foster trusted relationships with business partners and present to executives and investors.
- Thoughtful work style, capable of approaching challenging problems from first principles and pioneering novel business models.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $88,515 USD to $169,000 USD annually. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The advertised salary reflects compensation for new hires across all geographic locations. Individual compensation is influenced by work location and other factors, including skills, experience, and education. Equity opportunities are also available for this position.
